10! Ten! Almosttttttttt 10 years ago, I left a good thing and not many understood why.

It was at the encouragement of my boss that I packed up my backpack and sailed into the unknown.

It was a risk that I am glad I took, and as I wade in this reflection, I can’t help but see a new course charting.

I’m scared, I am hopeful, I am grateful, I am honored, and I am eager - just like the emotions of that Ashley so long ago.

If life after Hurricane Helene has taught me anything, it’s that; it’s not so much about grit over growth, it’s about adaptability under pressure.
